Also hosted by Finite Wisdom, this site started out small and grew larger, containing lots of photos, videos, PDF newsletters, survey forms, an online store, and more, as the client became more successful. Eventually, the site outgrew the capabilities of our small firm, so we parted ways with damar.org on amicable terms.

I agreed to set up this site for a friend who owns a daycare center in Plainfield, IN. It was my first experience developing a site using Yahoo! SiteBuilder, which I thought would allow her to easily maintain the site on her own after my initial setup. As you can see by clicking through to the site, it didn’t work out as well as I had hoped. I learn something from every project!

This site is hosted by Finite Wisdom, a website hosting and design firm owned by my good friend and business associate, Josh Golub. The site is built using ColdFusion-based site builder software developed by Finite Wisdom. I created the site and graphics for the client, and now they are able to maintain the site content themselves.

This site, dedicated to youth sports photography in Central Indiana, is hosted by SmugMug.com, which provides all the nice photo gallery, shopping cart, and checkout software. I set up the site for the client and provided my own graphic design customization from their initial design ideas. Why reinvent the wheel?

I became the webmaster for my daughters’ softball league in 2006 and took over an ugly site hosted on eteamz.com. Using the Prototype and Rico JavaScript libraries, I was able to give it a bit of visual flair. In 2007 I became the league treasurer, and began designing banner ads for the league sponsors as well.

Developed over the course of 4 years at Fuji Medical Systems, Inc., the web-based interface for the Fuji Synapse PACS software is written entirely in DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It includes over 100 pages of forms for medical imaging and patient records. The interface was designed with help from Cooper, the design consulting firm.

Another site hosted by Finite Wisdom, I set up this site for my brother-in-law, a family therapist. I use Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop Elements for graphics editing. I find Elements to be more than powerful enough for web graphics, at far less cost than the full Photoshop. On Windows, I also sometimes use Paint.net, a great free editor.
